    Happy with purchaseAnonymous reviewerThis was easy to assenle although instructions could be better. It's not clear which runner to use and ended up having to switch around, pain! Overall assembly was easy. The mechanism for closing the drawers is pointless in my option. One the drawer backs was cracked, I didn't notice until fully assembled, and strangely, one the sides was shorter than the rest. After some jiggery, pokery, I've ended up with one faulty drawer. I opted to collect locally - I tried to follow the 'replace an item' option but a messaged popped up telling me my issue couldn't be resolved online. I tried calling but the wait time was 45 minutes! Looks like I will have to return it in person to the store - kind of defeats the object of choosing that particular delivery option. I'm planning on just returning the faulty drawer and not the whole unit, as dismantleing it would be a nightmare. Product is solid and heavy, and was easy (ish) to assemble. Apart from the faulty drawer, I'm happy. 4

    Surprisingly good little chest of drawersAnonymous reviewerI chose this for a small corner in the bedroom, needing something compact but closed up for small clothing items. It was very easy and quick to assemble which given the other ikea items i have had previously was a massive improvement. Also this chest has a proper back, not the thin sheet that needs to be nailed and tends to wear out first. Also, impressed by the safety drawer system which keeps them all linked to a yo-yo string - no chance of tipping the thing over accidentally by pulling all the drawers out. I had to take a star off because of the overall weight and the amount of wood shavings and dust i had to clean up. But all in all really pleased.4
    Almost perfect Anonymous reviewerReading earlier reviews I was a little hesitant about this chest of drawers. I have built lots of IKEA furniture in the last year (wardrobe, 2 beds, 2 sofas, dining table, 4 chairs, 2 bedside cabinets...) so I trusted my experience of IKEA and went ahead with the purchase. I had no problems with the assembly. As usual, the instructions work perfectly provided you study the diagrams and double check everything at each stage. The chest is just the right size for my space, and the elastic cord system to prevent the opening of more than one drawer at a time works. I would have preferred the option of a gloss white or ivory finish, and the drawer runners are not as smooth as my Hemnes cabinets, but I am happy.5
