Everything is goodAnonymous reviewerI have seen the reviews about manufacturing fault but I can assure you that there isn’t any fault whatsoever. I even called customer service before purchasing because I saw mixed reviews as some found “faults” whilst others haven’t but they gave me their reassurance and I made the purchase. After building it I can see why a lot of people have mentioned manufacture fault as there is a new lock mechanism once you insert a drawer and the string locks onto the drawer which causes the drawer to be locked in and can’t take out until you reach to the back and manually take the string out which only took 2 seconds. I was panicking at first when I inserted the drawers and they were not going in correctly and I couldn’t take it out but then I realised the lock mechanism and then I fixed it. So nothing to worry and it’s very simply 5
Worst item from Ikea I’ve bought Anonymous reviewerHonestly this is the worse furniture I’ve bought from IKEA. I’ve watched so many different YouTube tutorials to make sure I’m not going crazy but it looks like this is a different “type” of Storklinta because all of the videos have different parts to what I’ve been given. Nothing flushes correctly which has resulted in broken parts and now I can’t build the furniture at all and now out of pocket. I’ve always bought the malm range for my children’s rooms and never had an issue, they were easy to assemble and sturdy. Really, really disappointed. 1

Build qualityAnonymous reviewerI bought this 4 drawer unit and must say that I’m not overly impressed with the quality. First time I’ve ever said that about an Ikea product.
The hardware, where possible, plastic locking devices have replaced the old metal fasteners used in the malm sets. When the drawer unit was built into its freestanding position with all assembly complete, it rocks (and yes, it is on a solid flat surface).
Looks wise it is nice. I will be surprised if it lasts as long as its predecessor (malm drawer)3
Really well madeAnonymous reviewerI wasn't sure about purchasing this based on some of the reviews for it not being as good as the Malm collection. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the construction and it is very sturdy. My Daughter loves the design especially with the draws closing when another opens. Would definitely buy again if I needed a chest of draws5
