BEWARE! unreliableAnonymous reviewerI installed 20 of these locks, but three of the Solstol locks did not open! This was only three months after installing the locks therefore it could not have been because the batteries died. The locks were completely unresponsive, did not make any sound. I had to break the cupboard doors to open the cupboards which cost me a lot of money and grief!
Was great until flat batteryAnonymous reviewerWorked well until the battery went flat. It’s meant to beep for a bit then open until battery replaced. This one didn’t beep and stayed locked, which caused a high degree of grief trying to open the cabinet. Returning today after 7 months.

Unreliable and frustratingAnonymous reviewerI bought 3 and have installed 2 on suitable doors of suitable thickness. They were installed 3 weeks ago with new batteries. Both of them have proved unreliable - sometimes not unlocking. Maybe I've just been unlucky but I will probably need to replace them.

Cool little piece of kitAnonymous reviewerI used it to create an invisible lock on one of the cupboards in my ikea desk. As it’s on the inside it’s invisible to everyone.
Installing can be a bit fiddly in tight spaces with a manual screwdriver so I recommend using ikeas mini Trixig screwdriver.
The pictures and video aren’t very good at showing how the product works so on the 2nd to last picture the small metal rectangle on the main product is essentially a bolt that comes out when you put the NFC card near it. This bolt goes behind the L shaped bracket (included) that sticks out on the inside of the cupboard etc. so when you try and open the door the bolt hits the metal plate sticking out and the door won’t open.
Pretty goodAnonymous reviewerEasy enough to install, works quite well.
One downside - The lock sits on one side of the drawer, so if the drawer has a lot of width you can pull it enough at the opposite side to peer inside (but couldn't get a baby hand inside still).
It also doesn’t mention how to add new NFC cards in the instructions (though easy enough to figure out), it also doesn't mention what happens in the case of low battery or how long to expect batteries to last.
