Great qualityAnonymous reviewerThe bed was easy enough to assemble and is very sturdy my daughter loves it!5
Loads of storage and super sturdyAnonymous reviewerIt's a pain when it comes to changing the bedsheet, but it holds my weight fine. It's not the bed's fault I always hit my head on the ceiling. It took both of us to put it together, but it was easy enough to do, just make sure you set plenty of time aside to do it. We out the desk perpendicular to the bed, and the only flaw here is that if my son knocks anything down the little gap it's a bugger to get back up (2 long rubber ended drumsticks help btw). We've just engineered his desk storage to cover the gap now. There's loads of storage, not that he uses it, he prefers the floor or the desk, but still. If he DID use it, there's plenty of space. The shelves hooks books on one side and they're deep enough that there's enough room to put baskets on the other side to hold extra clothes. We love it, he loves it, his small room embraces it. BTW the "red" handles are more pink.5
Not completeAnonymous reviewerNot complete as we need to buy the rest of the drawers and the rail for the clothes.3
Great furniture setAnonymous reviewerIt's a great set of furnitures. We are using it for few weeks now and we have no problems with it. It's quite high but we like it as there is more room underneath where we put another bed instead of the desk. We used thicker 20 cm mattress than it was recommended by IKEA and our boy is very happy with it. You can have different systems inside the wardrobe (shelves, hooks, baskets on rails) and there is a wide range of colours, handles , etc for you to choose from. It certainly took few hours to put everything together, but it's like putting at least 3 separate furnitures: bed, wardrobe, shelves, so understandably it can take the whole day, especially if you are not experienced in doing so.
We would recommend that to somebody who is looking for a sturdy set of furnitures that is saving space in a room.5
Great bed & deskAnonymous reviewerA little bit awkward to build in the room it was going into, but, relatively simple to put it together once we got into the swing of things. My son, (11), loves it, we’ve set up his gaming station on the desk & he’s over the moon. Lots of storage with the wardrobe & 4 drawers. I’d definitely recommend. Very happy with this purchase.5
Great Kids BedAnonymous reviewerHad two of these delivered on Saturday afternoon and both basic frames with wardrobes built and put together within 5 hours. Desk and drawers finished within a couple of hours the morning after. Would definitely be easier with 2 people however and without the kids trying to help! Trickiest bit is attaching the bed base to the wardrobe as you build it upside down and need to lift and turn it over.
Seems very sturdy and the desk has loads of space. Hopefully these will last as they aren't cheap but on first impressions you can see why.5
Fabulous but hard to assembleAnonymous reviewerA great piece of furniture for my son's room, incorporates a bed, desk, shelves and wardrobe. Amazing price for what it is. Quite hard to assemble though - definitely a two person job. The instructions come in 3 booklets and you should definitely decide the exact configuration you want, ahead of starting assembly, otherwise you may need to restart! Also ensure you start assembly in exactly the place where you want the bed to be, as it's impossible to move afterwards! We configured ours with the desk jutting out and the wardrobe facing in. Looks good and we're pleased with the blue and white colours.4
Literally an all in one - but…Anonymous reviewerThis is by far one of the most unnecessarily difficult things I’ve ever made from Ikea. The instructions personally were quite simple to understand. There are many parts&you have to be very concentrated with HOW you want to position your pieces BEFORE you start screwing things in- because it does tend to crumble a little too easy for my liking-however, once in place- it is really very sturdy. The best slats I’ve seen for any Ikea bed. The desk is very large. You cannot have the opening of the wardrobe under the bed as well as having the desk fit snug inside( which hasn’t been made clear). The desk does come out a very fair bit if you position the doors to open under the bed. It would be an absolute nightmare to try and change the doors to the wardrobe after realising how much space the desk does poke out. Pictures of how NOT to position should be made. Pictures of how far out the desk comes with measurements should be given.Ladder is very flat fitted. Not ideal for age 13+.4
Took a while, but completely worth itAnonymous reviewerAdmittedly, I did it mostly single-handed. Needed extra help to hold some heavy parts in place. It took a day and a half, on and off. Obviously would take less time with more people.
The instructions were easy enough to follow but you have to pay close attention to notice the differences between screw types and the wood pieces. There is no writing, so it's a bit like playing spot the difference.
Also, a couples pieces were in different boxes, but they were all there.
Now it's finished, I couldn't be happier. A great way to save space in a smaller room. Plenty of room underneath, even with the desk (which you can arrange in a few different ways). And the bed feels sturdy and easily supports my weight.
Would highly recommend.5
Consider day to day bed accessAnonymous reviewerConsider how you would gain access to the bed. The kids will probably enjoy climbing it if they didn't fall asleep elsewhere while playing. Also, it is not fun when an adult need to change the bedsheet.3
Lots of work to assemble, great for small spacesAnonymous reviewerThis product comes in several heavy boxes and takes a lot of work to assemble. You need to read the instructions carefully as it has several permutations possible. That makes it great for using small spaces effectively. We got one of these for each of our kids and have been pleased so far. 5
Good cost-benefitAnonymous reviewerGood cost-benefit3
Time consuming but worth it. Anonymous reviewerSo this takes a LONG time to put together. Expect several hours. But once it’s together, it’s sturdy.
It’s also very long in the packaging. It only just fit in to my Landrover Discovery 3, and that’s with all rear seats down, and also the passenger seat as far forward & folded as it could go. I would recommend delivery or van hire. 5
Strong and sturdy. Anonymous reviewerInstructions were easy to follow. Took two people to assemble because of weight and positioning. We checked we had all parts before starting as we thought some were missing but had to open more than one pack at a time. Very strong and sturdy, well worth the money. Perfect for our aged 9 son, he loves it. He went from little boy to mature boy when sitting at the desk with laptop and headphones. 5
Sturdy piece with lots of storageAnonymous reviewerVery study piece once built. Took a few hours to put together but once built it Isn’t going anywhere and is very safe. Great storage throughout in variety of forms from hanging space, drawers, and shelving. 5
Very good quality. Only one problem instructions not very good to put togetherAnonymous reviewerBetter instructions5
The best loft bed.Anonymous reviewerThis is a Perfect loft bed my sons they love them, I brought 2 as we needed space and a small private area for them both to have to do homework etc they both love it. My personal favourite is that you can customise to how many draws you want or if you do or don’t want doors on the wardrobe. It took us 4.5 hours to build each time. 5
Great bed, little priceAnonymous reviewerBought this for 7year old grandson. Very sturdy, plenty of storag space. Love the choice of set up. One of the biggest seller for us was the ladder, very space-saving unlike the "lean to" ones. The draws are massive, ideal for kids when cleaning the "floordrobe". This is one of the best value for money highsleeper available. And looks very good as well. 5
Amazing High SleeperAnonymous reviewerSuperb high sleeper, goes together really well, instructions are pretty easy to follow once you figure them out, but beware you need a really large space to assemble especially when it comes to the sleeper section as you need to rotate it around and if your buying it for a box room like us it was a bit like "twister" for a bit but got there in the end. Consider paying someone to build it for you and save yourself 5 hours. That being said our son loves it and makes him feel that bit more grown up with his office underneath. Well done IKEA good idea. 5
Smart and compact Anonymous reviewerMy son loves his furniture. All three in one is a great space saver. 5
