Drawers do not fitAnonymous reviewerTough design to build, was looking good until the drawers, they got their calculations wrong, the three drawers do not fit.
Item dosent go together properlyAnonymous reviewerEverything was going great to assemble except the draws they physically do not go in properly even rang Ikea to find out what notch they go on and they do not fit in straight bottom draw front overlapped with the second draw and even Ikea couldn’t figure it out don’t get me wrong they are very sturdy and love that once little one is older changing part can be lowered to make it into a desk but the draws…. I cannot even look at them because they are wonky
Just perfect Anonymous reviewerUsed for my two babies and now as a desk in big kids room. Love it so much the curved edges. Customisable and feels sturdy enough. Also who can be dealing with changing a baby facing the wrong way!! This solves that even if not as aesthic. You want practical at 3am x
Generally Solid But predrilled problemsAnonymous reviewerThe changing table is good value overall, feels solid, and was fairly straightforward to assemble. However, the main issue is with the drawer alignment. The pre drilled holes appear to be a few millimetres too low, which makes it very difficult to fit the drawers as shown.
Because the tolerances are tight, even a slight misalignment causes problems. The top drawer can snag or not fit properly, and the bottom drawer may not sit on the runners at all. In my case, the bottom drawer now has to sit loosely without rails.
This is not a safety concern, but it is frustrating. The middle drawer also needs lifting slightly each time to sit flush, which adds unnecessary hassle during use. It is manageable, but it takes more attention than it should for something used frequently (And takes your eyes off the baby whilst you try to get the draw in!).
Overall, decent unit let down by poor drilling accuracy. I would not buy it again.
Good changing table, but no good as a deskAnonymous reviewerThis has served us well as a changing table, but it's a nonsense to say you can change it into a desk. Once you move the platform down, the drawers become inaccessible, making it a really poor use of space. I wish we'd got a less chunky changing table and separate drawers - it's a very chunky piece of furniture.
Instructions incorrect Anonymous reviewerWood pieces are not labelled so it is not clear how to build the main frame, had to re do it again as the back of it was not fitting due to unclear instructions on buillding the main frame, instructions are not accurate for the drawers either, the numbers where it tells you to put screws in are incorrect. You have to use your own initiative I would not follow these instructions unless you want to keep re doing and undoing the work you've done. I am good with building things but following these instructions wasted my time therefore had to build without them. Which isn't what I have paid for, I paid for a sturdy piece however ikea is meant to make building this with instructions easier. It was ridiculous as have been given three separate instruction booklets.
