Do not buy - the quality is badAnonymous reviewerI have used this board for less than a month and the board has started to split in two different places. I bought this over a year ago but it was in storage as i was moving so its past the guarantee period. Buying this is throwing money away.
I had followed the care instructions - its the quality of the wood/board that is the issue.1
WarpedAnonymous reviewerJust like many others have said, and despite using the SKIDD oil I purchased from ikea to keep it conditioned, and hand washing it without submerging it, and drying it off immediately, and storing it flat… it still decided it wanted to identify as a banana. Oh and it’s also splitting.

Worst chopping board everAnonymous reviewerIn just 3 weeks, the chopping board has bent and is curved eventhough it was only hand washed and used with care. Very disappointing and bad experience. Not recommended to buy at all as its waste of money. 1

Quality cutting board Anonymous reviewerThis is a thing quality piece of wood. I oiled it as required gives it a lovely colour. I wipe it down rather than wash it as i do not want to warp it as other reviewers have reported. I have given it 4 stars as time is needed to assess its durability and robustness 4

We followed the instructions carefully, wiping the board clean and applying the recommended three coats of food-safe oil all over. This seems to have created a great water-resistant barrier and prevented warping.
The only minor inconvenience was having to wait for oil from another source since it wasn't available in-store when we bought the board. It would be helpful if the store offered food-safe oil alongside the chopping boards. This might encourage more people to understand the importance of treating the board before using it to prevent potential warping.5
