Really good tapAnonymous reviewerI’m really pleased with this tap; it’s smart and easy to use with the retractable end. The only thing that lets it down is that it needs a long drop for the weight - in our underwing cupboard, with a shelf, we can’t get the weight placed right for the tap end to fully retract back into the tap and get the length of tap we want. I didn’t think about this when I bought it - it would be good to either be able to select long or short tubing, or to do them shorter as standard (as you can attatch additional piping, but you can’t trim the tubing). Basically, if you have a shelf in your under sink cupboard be aware that you either won’t get the full hose length from the tap, or you’ll have a little black ring at the end of the tap (the visible bit of the extendable tap end)
Sallsjön TapAnonymous reviewerPurchased as a replacement to another Ikea tap. This one is so easy to fit. Colour coded pipes, weight locator mark and locking nut improvement made this tap really easy to fit. Instructions are very clear.
The tap itself is a great design hiding the extending pipe inside the tap. The extending pipe has a rotating head which makes it incredible easy to clear the sink. Overall a very successful purchase.
