The wood is different as well. But together around the table look good. The chairs were relatively easy to put together by my 80 yr husband. They seem slightly heavier than my original chairs but the grandchildren are fighting to sit on them. They are comfortable to sit on and are as described. If they last as long as the ingolf chairs (20+ yrs) we will be very happy.5
