Perfect if you don’t have cats! 🐈⬛ 🐈Anonymous reviewerLoved these so much I bought more for other bedrooms & lounge. They are so lightweight yet block out the light. They drape lovely & cut easily for sizing. Be aware the blackout is a dark brown coating on the backs of the curtains, so it looks a bit like umbrella material. This caused me two issues otherwise I’d give them 5 stars. First, the backing got sticky & melted when I tried to iron on hem tape. That’s ok, I just sewed it quickly on a machine. I couldn’t be bothered in one room & it was left (I cut straight) & didn’t fray. Second, I have cats who sit on windowsills & when they push the curtains out the way their claws/paws sink holes right through the brown coated backing, so when the curtains are shut, it looks like a galaxy light show with the sun or street lamps shining through the tiny holes!! Gutted 😂 I so loved these curtains but now I have to replace them with ones that don’t have this coated backing. So 5* if you don’t have cats 🐈 & don’t mind the dark brown backing.4
Look fantastic I’m totally delightedAnonymous reviewerAfter reading reviews I was dubious about buying these curtains. I loved the colour, yellow beige and so bought them. I took notice of previous tips and they turned out perfect and looked far more luxurious than the price. Here is what I did.
Washed the curtains. Yes they shrank unevenly but I still needed to cut off 8 inch and 6 inch respectively from each curtain then I had a 4 inch hem to hem with hemming tape.
I hung the curtains then lightly steamed pleats into them and tied with string. To achieve the look I wanted. After a few hours I removed the ties and they were perfect and looked far more expensive than they were. No need for tie backs they stayed exactly where I put them. This is no more work than you would normally do with any new curtains. Mine are to the floor and I wish I could share a photo so you could see how beautiful they look. I totally recommend these curtains 5

Uneven QualityAnonymous reviewerThe stated drop specifies 250cm, but shrinks when ironed.
Out of the package, the curtain measured 248cm. The curtain irons nicely with a steam iron (as recommended to max 110 degrees) and the creases came straight out. However, when ironed, the curtain shrinks, and if you have multiple panels, they shrink unevenly. A few panels shrank down to 242cm, but varies from panel to panel.
I'm not sure why, and perhaps it has to do with the plastic black-out backing or different batches. If you are hanging multiple panels in a row, they are not fit for purpose.2

Great curtains Anonymous reviewerI thought they’d look cheap but they don’t, I did get the previous material that is smoother and looks like it could be faux suede, same plastic backing. I love it because they’re not heavy to hang and are not bulky to store away when you have little storage. yes it might be annoying to iron but I found my creases went away naturally, they hang beautifully and do the job without the need to be thick and heavy. 5

Plastic feel to the backingAnonymous reviewerNot nice to the touch, they feel very cheap. I would have returned if I could have. The backing has a plastic type backing for the black out, makes attempting to iron out the creases from being packaged a nightmare. Far l better quality curtains available at Ikea for a similar price, I was swayed by the colour unfortunately and did not see the curtains out in a display. 1

Terrible colourAnonymous reviewerThe yellow-beige colour is more of an orange-brown. Also these are extremely thin with a plastic back which was not shown in the images. Super disappointing1
Look ok but the backing is attractiveAnonymous reviewerLook ok hanging - but the brown back is gross - I have lined them as I do not want to see the dark back - also lots of pinpricks of light coming through as the back cracks - for the price good but I wish I'd spent more on better curtains4
