Warped after 1 use, split after 3Anonymous reviewerI used it for stir frying and it warped after the first use, then went back to its original shape after using it again, before splitting after the third use. I loved the shape at first, but after warping it could stir as well, then it split so is no unusable. I have never had this problem with wooden spoons before but I haven’t had one this thin before. Maybe can only be used on dishes with no liquid?
Excellent value Anonymous reviewerSpatula looks well made from solid non fraying wood, the end is tapered or pointed making scraping easy, I purchased mine for tossing cooking food such as Bolognese and stir fry’s or salad and coated mine in oil to help protect it.

Wok SpatulaAnonymous reviewerI searched everywhere online for this item—though not yet at Ikea—and nothing impressed me until I finally came across this one. It truly is the perfect spatula. After oiling it, the wood has darkened beautifully with use, adding a touch of charm while cooking. I plan to purchase another soon and will drill a few holes in it for draining noodles next time.

Great item, but I have had one splitAnonymous reviewerA really handy tool for breaking up food in the wok, unfortunately I have had one split after just a few uses so it had to be binned. However as it was only £1.50 I just bought a replacement.
Too wide IMO unlessAnonymous reviewerToo wide at the scraping edge unless you use it in a very large wok which would have a gentler curve than the average home wok to its walls thanks to a bigger diametre (and this tool's handle is definitely solid enough to be able to stand up to an oversized task!) BUT if you are even a tiny bit handy and own a power sander, 10 minutes makes short work of narrowing its width at the scraping edge (I rounded the sides in so that it becomes a bit closer in shape to the flat bottom spoon IKEA also sell but which is currently short in stock for home delivery, I hope it comes back!).

Split within 2 months, poor build quality Anonymous reviewerThis wooden spatula develops cracks on its main surface over time, which can trap food particles. Cleaning these cracks often requires sharp tools, which can worsen the damage and cause the cracks to expand. In my case, this eventually led to the spatula breaking.
