A practical solution for small spaces – as a desk or as a dining table with space for 2.
The drop-leaves are easy to fold down to save space and the shelves are easy to access even when the leaves are folded down.
It’s easy to move the table to where you need it thanks to the castors and handles on the sides.
Shelves provide handy storage for cookbooks, schoolbooks, laptop, tableware, bowls, trays and so on. Items often used are best kept on the upper shelf.
The high side can serve as a workspace for preparing food or as a bar table for chatting and socialising.

Less good things
Heavy, would have liked a different colour/finish option, the top storage area is only accessible from one side and typically this is the side I have against the wall.
Overall a great compact option for smaller spaces. I purchased this to use in my kitchen but also as an occasional work desk for my small flat.
I am happy with the quality and it feels like a piece that will last.
Quite heavy which is good, but it also made it awkward to assemble on my own, still doable though!

It has good storage on three levels, we found the top covered cubby to be particularly useful for the storage of rechargeable batteries and chargers. The solid wood has a lovely feel, I did give it an extra coat of Danish Oil as it was going to be used in the kitchen as a working space, with the potential for spills. Overall a very pleasing and useful piece of furniture.

Spot on Design Anonymous reviewerWe we're looking for an end of kitchen counter fold up table for our very small kitchen. And IKEA came up with a superbly thought out design from well made materials. The dimensions of this unit will fit any modern kitchen no matter the maker of the kitchen. My only slight concern would be the solid wood parts should be sealed (or at least tell you to seal/finish before assembly)
