Interlocking brackets mean restricted heightAnonymous reviewerI wanted these for the office, but unless you link up the brackets top and bottom they don’t lie flush with the wall and would pull on the wall not making it secure. The height of the brackets mean that you’re restricted with height of what you can put in the shelves. I’ve had to lie box files flat instead of having them upright. Fine if you know that but not made obvious. Lots of pictures of single shelves but I’m not sure they’d be very secure with the bracket not being close to the wall.2

Look Ok But Why Ruin Them With Product Stickers?Anonymous reviewerOk these are cheap and you get what you pay for. Look Ok, not great, depends on how you configure them if using a number of shelves. there are two real problems that really disappointed me: 1. When using for slimmer/shorter shelf the bracket ends are far too wide so they look odd in these brackets as the gaps look like you have just used a very cheap shelf instead of what should be used. I didn't I bought in store the shelf for these brackets. The larger 80 x 30 shelf looks better though. and has a beveled edge. The shorter size (59 x 20?) don't look matching and just look odd. 2. My biggest issue. Why Oh Why did Ikea decide to wrap around the bracket bar a product sticker that is stuck on by some sort of super glue. If you can manage to get the sticker off (near impossible) then you are left with a visible sticky residue. If you try to wash it off then any dirt just clings to it so the visible reside just looks like a large dirty smudge. Thanks for that Ikea. Completely unnecessary and plain annoying. I thought these would look smart in my living room but they are definitely temporary.3
