Awesome light - careful when opening the baseAnonymous reviewerThe light is really lovely and our daughter (aged 6) absolutely loves it. Just a warning to be careful when opening the base to retrieve the cable - you need to twist the bottom section in order to open it. We ended up prizing it open with a butter knife and broke 2 of the 6 connections that keep the base on! (Still works luckily but hopefully this help others!!)

I bought it to put in my home office, it's great!
Works well with Smart plugAnonymous reviewerAdds some nice character to the room, and even better, remembers its last on state after being powered on and off via a smart plug. This means if you set it to a colour mode like red, blue, or yellow, or the colour cycle mode via the button, it will return to this when power is disconnected and reconnected. This is brilliant. I am using a Hue Smart Plug.
It was a bit of a pain to setup as you have to twist harder than you think, leaving concern of it breaking, to remove the manual and power supply. However I suppose this reduces price as it takes less shipping volume. So you win some you lose some.
