A panel door hides your belongings and protects them from dust.

1 door will fit BILLY bookcase 40 cm and 2 doors will fit BILLY bookcase 80 cm.
Can be used on the corner unit only if the shelf next to it has no doors.
The door does not fit bookcases purchased in the spring of 2014 or earlier.

Don't sit flush with billy unit cupboard Anonymous reviewerBought this short and narrow oxberg door to front a short and narrow Billy unit, with an oxberg door, for my elderly mother's hall. I put the unit together, which was straightforward, and then hung the door. However, the top , horizontal, edge of the door does not fit flush with the top edge of the cupboard and because it is white, and low, all you can see is a fair sized dark gap across the top of the unit, when you walk past it. I could see no way of rectifying the issue, as there is no adjustment when putting the unit together. Mum is so disappointed, and would like a refund. However it was delivered to her, and she has no ikea store nearby.

It’s good to look Anonymous reviewerI like the look of the door however it’s very flimsy and I would’ve prefered the panel to be fitted in abit better. Every time you close the door it rattles. Ikea is about practicality and this ain’t practical at all.

Different finish to previous doorsAnonymous reviewerWe were disappointed to open the box and find that the finish and colour is completely different to the doors we bought in 2021ish for our other bookcase! They now have a plastic finish rather than being oak veneer (easier to clean ;) but doesn't match existing furniture and not as good quality). The photos on the website don't seem to have been updated as you can see the texture of the veneer. Also, the website mentions the doors won't fit bookcases bought before 2014, it would be good to also mention they don't match bookcases bought before a certain time too!
