Poor table surfaceAnonymous reviewerI would have put down 1 star for this table but I love the functionality and how agile this could be.
The first day using the table there's already marks on the surface. I did not know why but I later find out if you have splash oil on it when you eating, the oil soaks onto the surface material and left permanent marks. It's not wood neither laminate but printed pattern with a thin layer of plastic (?) on it but I don't exactly know what texture it is. Complaint to customer service they are really helpful to send me another, still does the same. Love this but also hate this.
Probably if you like the functionality, you may want to upgrade the top plate with solid wood, which will be more durable and looks even better, which I will try to do.2
A truly terrible product. Not even worth £10, let alone £30.Anonymous reviewerAgree with most of the critical reviews of this. Possibly ok if you never intend to actually use it as a table. Table top doesn't attach, but sits in brackets and on anti-slip stickers which do not work very well. As a result it is completely unsafe if you put anything remotely fragile / weighty on top (recommended limit is 15kg!). Table wobbles all over the place at the best of times. Table top is unbelievably low quality. There were several marks around the edge (down to bare chipboard), even before assembly. After (careful) assembly there were even more. Decided to disassemble and return for a refund, but the plastic stopper clips couldn't be removed without damaging them, or the frame. It is now in the bin. A complete waste of £30. Would not recommend 100%.1
Cute to look at but not a good table at allAnonymous reviewerI really wanted to like this and I rarely dislike Ikea furniture. It's a lovely design, good to look at and to some extent it is useful. But for the price and for all that it promises, it falls short. I agree with other reviewers who have said that it is unstable - bump it and you will see. The table top is horrible quality - is it made of paper?? I left a damp cloth sitting on it for about half an hour and it bubbled and bits flaked off. You can only carry the table by its sides and not the front and back because the table top will pop off. The canvas hammock seems a good idea but constantly loosens and/or flips so it ends up vertical. For a table that's meant to be convenient and easy to move around, it's sadly best not moved around. Not a good table, I would not recommend it and certainly not at this price.1

Not water proof . Surface bubbled and crackedAnonymous reviewerThe only bad thing is that the surface of the table started blistering after leaving a wet napkin on top for prolonged period, now the surface has bubbled and cracked . I've filled the holes and painted the top again. Seems a shame as the wooden effect was more appealing.2

I'm so disappointed by this tableAnonymous reviewerI really want to love it. It looks lovely in store and is easy to assemble BUT.... I buy a lot of IKEA items and this is by far my worst purchase. The clips are not at all sturdy and have all broken over the course of a year or so. The top is beginning to bubble around the edges. The thing falls over constantly. It's the only time I have been truly disappointed in a purchase. I really am a big IKEA fan, this little table had so much potential yet sadly failed to deliver. 1

Spills everythingAnonymous reviewerWanted a table that pulls over the seats of the sofa and it does do this. However the center of gravity on it is shocking so the slightest knock causes huge spills if you have a drink on there.
I’ve also had the same issue as other reviews whereby the clips keeping the top on have somehow stopped working over time so the tabletop slides around.
Was alright for a couple of months or so but now feels flimsy and just causes mess. 2

The table top locking mechanism could benefit from some attention as it needs to be more secure. As mentioned by others the quality and durability of the veneer on the top is poor. I appreciate this is a low cost item but perhaps IKEA could offer a choice of table tops with different quality and price.3
Super stylishAnonymous reviewerreally solid and sturdy, fantastic design can be tall for desk use while in a chair/sofa or remove the top shelf and make it a low level table. Love the hammock to store pens, mags etc. I bought it for after major surgery to easily slip over bed or chair while doing crosswords, and could take weight of laptop. Super stylish, great price, easy to assemble5
