You can quickly transform this multifunctional table from a slightly higher side table into a lower coffee table to suit all the different activities that take place around the sofa.
The smart design of the side table allows you to slide the table top over your lap and enjoy a proper dinner while watching TV, without risking spills or the underframe getting in the way of your legs.
Stable to eat on and with a table top that has enough room for a plate, glass and cutlery – and the table top is easy to wipe clean when you're done.
You transform the table by removing the table top from the underframe, turning the underframe on its side and then fixing the table top in place again by using the fasteners under the table top.

Great concept, needs improvement.Anonymous reviewerThe idea of this is excellent, but there are a few bugbears we can't ignore.
The table surface marks and gets moisture damaged far to easily for something that's designed for living room use. It needs to be more durable and better quality.
The clips that connect the tabletop to the frame are not strong enough for regular use, it's too easy to remove the surface from the frame accidentally.
The fabric sling for doesn't stay level for long, and the fabric seems to be a magnet for dust and doesn't wash very well.
Overall this could have been perfect, but there are too many little niggles.

WobblyAnonymous reviewerI don't experience the issues others have shared about the top coming off or the surface bubbling/getting ruined from a bit of moisture, and that's having spilled SO many drinks on this thing due to how wobbly it is. Knock it slightly and the liquid is flying out the glass/mug. I've learned not to put a drink and laptop on it at the same time, which is a shame as those are the two things I wanted to use it for.

I'm so disappointed by this tableAnonymous reviewerI really want to love it. It looks lovely in store and is easy to assemble BUT.... I buy a lot of IKEA items and this is by far my worst purchase. The clips are not at all sturdy and have all broken over the course of a year or so. The top is beginning to bubble around the edges. The thing falls over constantly. It's the only time I have been truly disappointed in a purchase. I really am a big IKEA fan, this little table had so much potential yet sadly failed to deliver.

Spills everythingAnonymous reviewerWanted a table that pulls over the seats of the sofa and it does do this. However the center of gravity on it is shocking so the slightest knock causes huge spills if you have a drink on there.
I’ve also had the same issue as other reviews whereby the clips keeping the top on have somehow stopped working over time so the tabletop slides around.
Was alright for a couple of months or so but now feels flimsy and just causes mess.

The table top locking mechanism could benefit from some attention as it needs to be more secure. As mentioned by others the quality and durability of the veneer on the top is poor. I appreciate this is a low cost item but perhaps IKEA could offer a choice of table tops with different quality and price.
