ÖSTVEDA Integrated dishwasher, IKEA 500, 60 cm
An extra spray arm rinses your dish from different angles, allowing the water to reach all corners of the dishwasher, even when you packed it tightly and with bulky items.
The dishwasher has a function that detects the amount of dishes in the dishwasher and how dirty they are and adjusts the water volume based on this.
Towards the end of the program, the door automatically opens and stays ajar so that the dishes dry as quickly as possible.
With the Beam on Floor function, a beam of light shines on your floor when the dishwasher is running.

Broke, Leaking, Noisy. ☹️Anonymous reviewerWith a title like that I could be describing a previous partner - but I'm not! I'm describing the ÖSTVEDA Dishwasher. Getting hold of IKEA of act upon the warranty, I've had to become some kind of guru on the manufacturing companies of Europe and who works for who, and what they make, in order to try to get the right company to service or replace this broken down piece of junk. You can be on the phone for over an hour, talking to a chat bot - again waiting for some sort of answer. I'm incredibly bitter about the whole process, I may have to go outside and vent my frustration at the sky. Do not buy. ☹️ - Would I recommend this to a friend?? Only if I hated them and wished to see them suffer.
Broke after 1st useAnonymous reviewerOnly used this once before it had a error code. Since the error the touch display hasn’t worked and the digital screen won’t turn on. Ikea installed too, so doesn’t bode well.
Somewhat disappointedAnonymous reviewerI couldn't say this was a bad machine but we have found that cleaning performance generally is not as good as our previous Bosch and Siemens machines. Size is tight for large plates and the layout of the "prongs" somehow seems to make stacking difficult for us. Cutlery in particularly comes out with stains/drying marks on it. The economy and silent programmes don't dry the dishes properly.

Not great Anonymous reviewerWe aid to the kitchen expert we wanted to buy our own dishwasher as the reviews weren’t great but were persuaded to buy an Ikea dishwasher as she said other models generally did not work with Ikea kitchens…, I wished we bought our own. Feels a bit cheap and flimsy and it does not wash things that well.
Not designed for fully sized platesAnonymous reviewerYou can only stack standard dinner plates tilted backwards to get them in the machine. The spinning arm hits them and chips them if you try and place plates face forwards.
It is a good size machine and I like the cutlery tray so you don't have to struggle using a basket. So if wanting to buy check out the positioning of your dinner plates. Also you have to watch out which cycle you want as most of them run for over 3 hours!

Cutlery Tray issuesAnonymous reviewerJust had this fitted today the cutlery tray does not go back in, it’s getting stuck. The top spray arm appears too low, like another reviewer has said.

Ostveda dishwasherAnonymous reviewerWe took the kitchen planners advice and purchased this as your plinths are different sizes to most other kitchens.
Since having it (October) fitted the cutlery tray does not go back in smoothly often getting stuck.
The top spray arm has now dropped off together with the plastic lock that looks like it holds it in place.
I have contacted customer service and waiting on a response.
We would like an engineer out to replace and fix please
