Vanish does not last and table is cracked and warped within a couple of years. Very disappointed. The table is not cheap and I expected it to last. Only buy if you want to use inside1

Assembly was very easy and was completed by myself. Table looks fantastic though the stain was a little skimpy in a couple of places. We have this paired with the bench and 2 chairs, and together the set looks a quality piece of kit. I would recommend this to anyone as a outdoor dining set.5

Did not last wellAnonymous reviewerAs mentioned in other reviews - we bought this last summer and had it covered all Autumn and Winter. However the stain has now disappeared in patches showing bare wood underneath. I don’t think the product lives up to the description.
It is also not obvious what stain we should use to try and rectify the problem. Very disappointing.1
Do not waste your money! Anonymous reviewerWe purchased this table end of July 2023, covered it up October and had it propped up at one end so that any rain water ran off it. We uncovered it at the start of April only to discover the stain had lifted randomly over the table! We can’t buy the stain to touch up as it is discontinued and IKEA are accepting no responsibility. Apparently our fault for not staining ‘once or twice a year’ - which is it??
It's now needing sanded down and the whole thing re-stained! Not the standards or service I expect from IKEA!! A very angry customer! 1

I oaid attention to previous reviews and didn't tighten the screws too much until everything was in place. The colour was darker than I was expecting as the one in store was more the colour I was after. Obviously I've only just built it so can't comment on longevity. 4
Way better than expectedAnonymous reviewerAfter looking at spending 4 times this on other outdoor tables, my infuriatingly sensible wife suggested something cheaper from ikea, to see how much we’d use it for 12 months, then upgrading next year.
Well after a few months of this table, it’s a keeper. Looks stunning, very sturdy and solid (my main fear from IKEA), and looks like it costs double what it did.

Poor quality - avoid at all costsAnonymous reviewerThe table is OK to put together, looks OK and is fairly sturdy at first. We covered the table for the winter, but noticed upon uncovering it that the wood had split and warped in a lot of places. We complained as it was less than a year old. However we were told that it was wear and tear because it had been in the sun. Apparently it cannot be left in the sun at any point otherwise it will start to fall apart, with the wood warping, splitting, and bits falling off. Not much use as an outside table if it cannot withstand any sunlight!1
