Doesn’t always fitAnonymous reviewerThe lid on its own is fine, but it doesn’t properly fit the trolley it is meant for. I’ve got one trolley where this lid wobbles. I have a previous version of the same lid/trolley and the lid is slightly smaller, fits perfectly. Not sure why the lid is now bigger, it slides about more.

Damaged upon delivery....Anonymous reviewerThe first lid that came with the trolley arrived with multiple chipped edges. Apparently quality control decided that was perfectly acceptable.
The replacement lid, however, somehow managed to be even worse — it arrived with deep scratches and doesn’t even sit flat on the trolley at all.
At this point I can only assume quality control and proper packaging at IKEA are either optional or simply not part of the process anymore. Receiving two damaged items in a row is quite impressive, just not in a good way.

Ideal topperAnonymous reviewerI use my trolley to store my sewing supplies in. The lid is ideal addition has it means I can sit my sewing machine on top and store in the corner. I have also made a small ironing pad that fits to the lid so I have a ironing/pressing base next to me when sewing.

Doesn't fit properlyAnonymous reviewerI was really disappointed with the item. I had been wanting a lid for my trolley for a while. Finally got to buy this one (which appears to be a newer model?) and it really doesn't fit properly. I use it on the top shelf of the trolley and keep my flour tin on it. When I go to take the lid of my flour tin, the trolley lid slides and then slips into the top trolley stage. It seems that the lip on the lid isn't deep enough to ensure a good fit. It just slides off.
