Pieces not marked for the baseAnonymous reviewerVery differcult to put together on Base to make it slide. Got stuck with mm different had to be completely undone. Flipped over and turned around no markings as to which piece was to go. Finally got it to slide . Other units had markers and better fixing. Otherwise nice table that looks good in kitchen. Just a pain to put together.

Unhelpful storeAnonymous reviewerWe viewed the black Nordviken table in Sheffield store. It has a woodgrain effect which I liked, giving it more of a 'dining room' feel. We asked if there was a white table available to view but the assistant in the Sheffield store couldn't be bothered to help. He just told us to 'come back later'.
We bought the table and chairs in white without seeing them and they are very nice. However they are not wood effect like the black table, it's smooth melamine like a kitchen unit. As the two tables have a significantly different finish, they should both be on display. I like it but it's not what I hoped for.
My husband loves DIY & putting a flatpack together. He followed the guidance images & it took him about an hour to assemble the table & 2 chairs, using an electric screwdriver where needed.
It's a great size for 2 and could seat 4 if you didn't mind being close together.
We're happy with the furniture, somewhat disappointed with the lack of assistance from Ikea.

Very pleased with the final product. Only one issue - the slide mechanism is a bit stiff. I think I will have to see if there is any way I can loosen it. Nevertheless, I am delighted with this little table which perfectly serves its purpose in the kitchen. Will easily seat four when the leaf is erected.

Assembly - very straightforward. No problems at all.
A minor quibble - the lock for the table leaf is ... "not brilliant"? Doesn't look/feel durable ... but I've only had the table a week ;-). Time will tell.

Excellent Anonymous reviewerReally good, strong, sturdy table. Quality is excellent. Husband had it together in less than an hour because the instructions were so good. Only issue was had to do a click and collect as delivery fee was £25. I have had previous items delivered for only £10.
