However, it looks amazing & is very solid so it’s worth the effort. The hanging rail is not suitable for long items which makes this wardrobe more apt for children which is what I intended it for. 5

Would have gone 5 stars if the bar for the hangers was a bit more sturdy. Also you will need two people and big boot to take it home. Two boxes would have been better. 4
Lovely but painful to assembleAnonymous reviewerLooks lovely. But assembly is using a very thin allen key with no grip, which makes it literally a pain. The last few screws won't seem to go all the way down. And the screw on the end of the pole won't screw in. One step of the instructions has an error in it. I'm hoping I can finish assembly somehow (maybe drill out the holes a bit) as it is a nice wardrobe, but I'd advise against buying it.1

What is bamboo?

Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
