Reviews

Brilliant TableVerified ReviewerWell built and brilliant space saver with a lovely finish5
amazing function hard assemblyVerified ReviewerProduct is really good. It fits perfectly in all kinds of spaces and is very sturdy and versatile. The materials are sturdy enough that it feels like a good worktop and also dining or other activity. It's weight makes it feel solid and next to a wall it is good. Assembly is not easy- the screws are prone to stripping as noted in other reviews, and alot of power needs to be used to screw them in, for this price, I wish they had used slightly better quality screws for the attachment of the top to the leg frame or a different design that didn't require as much force when screwing them in, but overall amazing product. 4
Good productVerified ReviewerI like this product. Very comfortable and compact table, with useful drawers. One minus: objects easily leave traces on the surface of the table, but they are removed.5
Excellent as a second occasionalVerified ReviewerExcellent as a second occasional table4
smart design, but bad qualityVerified Reviewerbought this table in Feb,2023. We like the design very much. We have a small living room, so we just used half of the table, but today when we need to use the whole table, we noticed the other half is out of shape, feels like it becomes shorter than it first arrived, thus we could not connect the stand with the table. It is a pity we could only use part of the table now, and the other half will be totally wasted :(2
Nightmare assemblyVerified ReviewerI'm only part way building this and have had to give up. It's nigh on impossible to get the screws in the hinges. I'm going to have to go and buy more screws as I've managed to strip almost all of them and have a blistered hand to boot. I recruited my son to help but even he can't conquer this task. Looks like it will be lovely if ever I can get it together. I'm quite experienced with self assembly furniture and have never encountered such difficulty in the past. Frustrated.3
Happy crafter!Verified ReviewerDoes everything we wanted it to do for all our crafting/sewing work. Easy to assemble, clear instructions and great quality. Would buy again if ever required.5
Brilliant table.Verified ReviewerI bought to use as a cutting table for my sewing room, which also doubles up as a spare bedroom. This is perfect. Folds to nothing when we have quests and perfect when I’m sewing. Great storage as well with the drawers either end.5
Very heavy to mobilise ifVerified ReviewerVery heavy to mobilise if you need. The bar that holds the sides is on the way of your legs3
Great table , wipes cleanVerified ReviewerGreat table , wipes clean easily and good for small and large areas.5
Fold away tableVerified ReviewerA great small table with storage5
Drawers didn't fit. Had to modify myselfVerified ReviewerI bought the Norden Birch table on 13th June 2023. No assembly problems were experienced until I tried to fit the drawers. Each drawer would slide unto the runners until the last couple of inches when the plastic "nail" heads which protrude slightly from the side of the drawer interfered with the table legs between which the drawers slide. This applied to each of the six drawers. I discovered that the front of the drawer was slightly wider than the rear of the drawer. I even dismantled the table again to see if there was any possible adjustment to the gap between the table legs. There wasn't. I started a chat with an Ikea agent and included some photos. The solution offered was to send 6 new drawer fronts plus new plastic "nails". I accepted this but then had a bit of a brainwave - what if I sand down the "nail" heads? I did this using a multi-tool. I had to shave off about a mm from each of the 4 nails at the front of the drawer. The drawers now fit!!!2
Good solid practical table.Verified ReviewerGood solid practical table.5
NordenVerified ReviewerIt is a little over priced, but good quality. However the colour is more of a white ish birch rather than having that bit darkened appearance as seen on photo. I know in the past it was darker. Some of the holes do not match up fully but can work with it.4
great space saverVerified ReviewerThis substantial table is well built and very stable, sits 6 people easily, just what we want5
OverpricedVerified ReviewerGood value at £199 when I bought last month. Why now at Christmas time increase the price to £249. Huge increase. Cynical timing also1
Amazing and practical!Verified ReviewerPerfect, really steady and practical.5
Great little tableVerified ReviewerBrought to use as a craft table for my 2 children and its fab! Easy enough for them to put up and down themselves and folds lovely and small to take up very little room. Big enough with only one side up for them both to sit and craft at. Draws very handy for their pens, scissors and tape etc.5
Very practical & good valueVerified ReviewerVery practical & good value5
