Fiddly to assembleAnonymous reviewerDidn't realise that they were not fold out collapsible design like other cube boxes at IKEA. Not a fan of the x2 separate elements of the box part assembly and the handle fixing is fiddly and not all 4 boxes purchased had handles in exactly same place. I was not expecting to have to use metal screws for assembly either. As their construction is not that strong ensure when they are full you pick them up from underneath to support the base as they are more flimsy than they look on line.
Perfect for my DVD storageAnonymous reviewerI'm marking these down one star because despite folding the seams to get a crisp edge, I felt the cardboard was a little too thick and does not fully form a strong cube. However, for the price, they perfectly suited my needs as I wanted to downsize my 300 DVDs, (managed to halve the amount after much internal wrangling!) These look great on my shelf and they fit DVDs in sleeves without their cases perfectly - so could also be used for CDs. I wanted a small storage item for a reasonable price and these fit the bill. Basic but stylish enough.

Awful valueAnonymous reviewerMaybe the worst value of any ikea product. This is a shoddy box that is made of cheap, thin cardboard that has little structural stability when assembled. Shoe boxes have better construction and material
Nice sturdy box with one glaring issueAnonymous reviewerThese looked cute in the store, nice and sturdy and useful for a few awkward bits and pieces that need to be tidied away. So I grabbed three.
Assembly is a bit clunky but not difficult at all. Unfortunately, though, the holes where you attach the handle are placed too high up. On the first one I assembled, once I put the lid on, it completely covered the handle. The holes were in the same position on the other two. I assembled them anyway (at this price the hassle of complaints and returns was not worth it), and cut new holes lower down with a craft knife. I "measured" by putting the top points into the lower holes and pressing the lower points into the card to mark it. Then cut at those places.
This was ok but still a little bit high - the rims of the lids just sit on top of the handles now - could have done with being a little lower, but they'll do.

Terrible qualityAnonymous reviewerIKEA have stopped selling the TJENA boxes that I bought previously in black in the large size and I hoped these would be a good alternative. They are not, they are really poor quality and I doubt they will last long at all.
