The surface of this untreated, half-prepared material was full with barbs and splinters. The bed looks awfull and molders when you put the screw in. Don't buy it!
Very poor quality and broke right awayAnonymous reviewerThe wood in the middle broke in half when I put the mattress on it. Screws did not go into the pre-drilled holes, and the entire bed is flimsy and cheap. I have bought many IKEA products for over 30 years, but never had anything that bad and poorly made. Very disappointed! Have to buy a new bed now, wasted money and time!

Slat not fitAnonymous reviewerI bought a frame but forgot to buy the slat, after my friend helped me to a slat but it was not good fit to the frame. Every time I change my linen, I need to reposition the slat , otherwise , the mattress will fall down.🥲

The right slats weren't available so I paired this frame with Lönset. The slats sit high on the frame and are visible, but they give more under bed storage, are more superior slats and are easily hidden by the duvet.

Get the slats and you'll have no problems!Anonymous reviewerLovely bed frame. At an extra £25 you can't really complain that the slats are not included. A double bed frame for £60 total is still extremely cheap and I've had no problems at all with it. Assembly was straightforward and if you're not happy with the pine colour it seems easy enough to paint.
Works wellAnonymous reviewerUnlike most of the reviews I actually read the description and happily bought it in the knowledge that it didn't come with slats. I made my own plywood base as wanted a firmer base. At £35 you'd struggle to buy the wood to make it so it's a good buy in my opinion.

Not a complete bed baseAnonymous reviewerThis bed base is sold without slats. They do say in the description but having bought bed bases before that came with them (as a bed is useless without them) I hadn't read that. They say that it is only compatible with one type of slats. So why not just sell with it? Made slats myself in the end after a pointless back and for with IKEA.
