“We designed a frame that looks like a square with small legs,” explains Anders. It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

It’s just the right size for storing my massive thick bed throw in spring and summer and the colour goes with my bedroom furniture. I’ve bought some hinges as it didn’t come with any. I’ve put it on its end and put a beautiful lamp on top. At the moment I have ribbon holding it together. I’ve also decided to screw the base into the sides as it comes slatted with material holding it together so it’s flimsy when placed on its end. It’s perfect for what I wanted it for.
