A Great Display Cabinet!Anonymous reviewerAn exquisitely designed and manufactured product of high quality. This includes the framework, screws, brackets, fixings and the glass shelving. Paint on the frames had a tough, smooth satin finish, (black in my case).
Assembly instructions are via a series of detailed illustrations (not text) - I did not find one error or ambiguity.
Once assembled, the cabinet formed a rigid structure, with no hint of wobble evident. In my opinion, the wall-fixing ‘safety’ brackets were not required, even when the loaded cabinet was sitting on a carpet. So I did not fix them!
One small design issue could be improved: the 4 feet had a relatively small area (‘footprint’) that might leave indentation marks in carpets, for example. So I simply slid a 50p coin under each foot 🤗.
In summary, I was very pleased with my purchase!

BrilliantAnonymous reviewerThese glass cabinets are brilliant. They’re quite easy to put together (you need two people) and are really sturdy. The legs flare out at the base making it very difficult to tip, we did want to anchor it to the wall with a baby on the way but had to buy some different anchors off Amazon, as the supplied ones don’t reach the wall if you have a skirting board.
We installed battery operated spotlights under each shelf and it looks great lit up in the evenings!5

Fairly easy to put together, it somewhat nerve-wracking because there's so much glass! Fully assembled, it looks fantastic. I've paired it with a couple of sets of cabinet lights - it could do with a cable management strip down the spine of the cabinet for a pristine finish. 5

Great item, poor wall anchorsAnonymous reviewerThe cabinet itself is very easy to put up - a lot easier than I was expecting. It is great quality - lots of metal and glass, very little plastic, and as usual the engineering and instructions are great.
However, it is quite tall so does need anchoring to the wall I would have thought. Unfortunately, any form of skirting board means that the included anchor brackets will very likely be too short. Ikea despite making a bit deal about wall anchors, does not not appear to offer any advice or alternatives (e.g. webbing straps). Most found information on the internet involve using wooden batons which are unsightly for a glass see-through cabinet such as this. Eventually I bought some white webbing straps and did my own thing, but Ikea, if it really does take anchoring seriously, need to review their approach to this unit.3
