They recommended this milk pan saying it always worked. Boy did it - and cheaper than most of the others. But the best was yet to come. It cleans so easily, even when used to make porridge - you wonder how Ikea got it so perfect when nobody else has - quick, simple, and in no time at all it looks like new5

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
