PlainAnonymous reviewerThe construction method of this cabinet was very easy. I found the look to be very plain though also there is no void at the back of the unit which means if there’s any pipework it has to be cut out and is not hidden on the inside of the cabinet.

Is it supposed to come with a plinth? Or a base for the cabinet? IKEA could you please respond ? Thank you

We purchased this for a bar area in a garden room, and by the time you had added everything on top to fit it, then to bodge up / hide the fixing system
I would have been better going to a reputable kitchen supplier.

I decided to add a base unit into my kitchen. It again is easy to build, easy to fit and perfect for my needs. In fact I now plan to switch out all of my kitchen for METOD units one by one. I change my mind a lot, so it makes sense to switch my units, because when I decide I want a change it is easy to just switch the cupboard doors for a refresh, rather than fit a whole new kitchen!

Buy elsewhere I wish I’d listened to others. Anonymous reviewerI took the day off work today after paying for and selecting for the kitchen to be delivered today. Called at 6.50pm to find out when it would be arriving, given the delivery time is 7am-7pm, to be told it’s late and won’t be coming. I got up at 6am to go to the house to wait for it and took the day off booking no clients in, which cost me, I got offered a whole £22 compensation. Don’t waste your money. I thought I was saving by getting an IKEA kitchen but I’m now down the same amount of money as if I’d gone elsewhere, except I now have delays because I’d planned workmen and trades around delivery. Save yourself the stress.
