Legs and plinth not included – very inconvenientAnonymous reviewerI bought this cabinet assuming it would come with the necessary legs and plinth to install it as shown in the product images. Unfortunately, neither is included and they have to be purchased separately.
I only realised this when I was ready to install the cabinet, which meant I had to make an extra trip to IKEA just to buy the legs and plinth. Very inconvenient and frustrating.
I think IKEA should either include these essential parts with the cabinet or make it much clearer on the product page that they must be purchased separately.
Good initially but Forsbacka oak doors were a bad choiceAnonymous reviewer2 years after purchase
The method cabinets are solid and good value. These are durable and will last and we are very happy with them.
However, we went for the Forsbacka oak doors and they are not lasting well and after two years we are going to have to replace them with a different style that is made of different/more durable materials to fit this method range.
The coating/ effect on the doors has small fractures all across the surface of the doors/drawers. Dust and dirt goes into the the cracks making them hard to keep looking new and clean. Pieces on the tops of drawers fronts have also fallen off. We thought they would have done well for many more years as we have heard good things about Ikea kitchens.
We take care of what we buy so we know it’s manufacture rather than ill treatment. Disappointing doors and draws fronts- we expected better.

Excellent units Anonymous reviewerClear instructions and easy assembly - even for a 69 year old! - I completed with Capita 8cm legs. (I used the same units 8 years ago and was extremely happy with the results)
