Edge has lifted off/peeled after hot summer daysAnonymous reviewerI use this as a computer desk and rest my wrist on the desk when using the keyboard and around that area is where it lifted up. Im guessing the heat loosened the glue in that area and caused the board to curl up, im not sure. But I tried pushing it back down as it become more uncomfortable to rest my wrist on and the paint around there started peeling. I had a linnmon for 9 years before this for the same use case and this was never a problem. Im guessing the quality has gone down a lot since then as this new one didn't even last 1 year.
Poor quality, not fit for purpose - but worse awful customer service, no warrantyAnonymous reviewerThis seemed ideal as a desk-top, paired with suitable legs and competitively priced. However, the top is not "solid", and after ~6 months it started to flex a little, which ultimately developed into a clear warp or bend in the worktop.
I arranged a return online (#EXRGB0965608757) and returned it to my local store, where they refused to do anything about it! They said that "it was nearly a year old" and it looked like it had been overloaded, which it had not, with nothing more than a PC screen and keyboard well within the 50kg weight limit or even the 15kg concentrated weight. They actually suggested that I should sell it on marktplace and buy a replacement! I left the store (and left the defective item with them) without a refund.
I bought 3 of these, only one failed - It is only £15, so not worth arguing with - but be aware, it is cheap for a reason!
I kept the legs and bought a new top elsewhere that is solid core, not "honeycomb" which had clearly failed on this one.

But we love it so much we’ve just ordered a second one for my husbands gaming set up to! Because of the spacing of the legs you can easily fit your PC underneath the desk with plenty of room still for your legs and a proper full size adult gaming chair to slide under! It is perfect for us and our small space we had available without feeling cramped in and claustrophobic whilst gaming! Highly recommend

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
