Look after your sofa to make it last Anonymous reviewerJust a little help with those with negative reviews And couldn’t get their money back I have come across the same problems you had, it’s a nice sofa but no matter how tight you tighten these arms to the sofa they are still loose and that is because the staples that hold the frame have become loose or missed its contact completely in manufacturing, I had to take the cover off by picking all the staples off under the bottom, screw in the loose pieces of wood and pannels back together and replaced stapled back the cover. It became new again, as for the missed shaped cushions, I unzip them every now and then for a few hours to let air (expand) into the foam so by the time you res zip them, you have actually reshaped back the covers. Also if you have brought the light coloured sofas like the Sage one and you have kids or pets use a throw over if you can’t wash your covers. I do wish ikea had sold separate fitted covers to fit to give choices.

Uncomfortable after a yearAnonymous reviewerI love this sofa, it has such a great design but after a year it is so uncomfortable and mis-shaped. I tried to speak with customer care about the issue and they said to turn the cushions - however you cannot as there is no fabric on the back.
I am hugely disappointed in the quality of this sofa.

They sent someone round to inspect it who said that shouldn't of happened but was then told the report said it was not a manufacturing fault. Not as sturdy as they should be for the money.

Neat and comfortableAnonymous reviewerThe seat is deeper than many other sofas and with narrow arms this is surprisingly spacious for its external dimensions. Seats two people + dog comfortably or one person and one dog lying on it :-) The cat likes it too. For an inexpensive sofa I think it’s great value - on a par with the Klippan, one of which I had for many years and which I would have bought again if the sizes had been right for the space.

Style over substanceAnonymous reviewerI bought one of these and four months later I was having problems. One of the cushions lost its shape and wouldn't return back. IKEA refused a refund so I got a different model altogether. It generally feels a bit cheap and the springs were beginning to show through the fabric. This comes with a 10 year guarantee, I think it would struggle to make two years.
