Efficient, some minor quality issues.Anonymous reviewerWorks efficiently, as expected. The symbols on the buttons, however, have worn off after a couple of weeks use.3
Not fit for purpose avoid this dishwasherAnonymous reviewerHad this one since September last year and could tell straight away it was cheaper made than my older lagen.the bottom basket does not stay on the runner ever ! I have had to book my 3rd repair in less than a year so it is not fit for purpose as something different every time.customer service has been really bad too.took me 5 months and around 8 hours of phone calls to both IKEA and hotpoint as they don't actually communicate by phone and refused my requests to just call to resolve it and emails back and forward between them are ignored on both ends.so don't waste money on this cheap made heap of junk ! Would give 0 if I could.1
Manual not clear at allAnonymous reviewerI would like to share some feedback regarding IKEA assembly instructions.
In my opinion, many of the instructions are unclear and could be improved. One of the biggest issues is that parts are often not clearly marked with which side is the TOP and which is the BOTTOM. Because of this, we spend a lot of time trying to figure out the correct orientation, assembling parts, then taking them apart and reassembling them again.
This is frustrating and makes the assembly process much longer than it needs to be. Clearer diagrams and simple labels such as "TOP" and "BOTTOM" would save customers a great deal of time and prevent unnecessary mistakes.
This is not an issue with just one product—I have experienced the same problem with several IKEA products. I hope IKEA will review and improve the assembly instructions to make them clearer and more user-friendly.
Thank you for taking this feedback into consideration.2
Do not purchaseAnonymous reviewerI know these are not manufactured by IKEA, however their QC department really needs to do a better job. We recently moved and the house had an old Ikea dishwasher that had stopped working. As it was also an Ikea kitchen with 800mm doors decided best this to do was to replace with the newer version. OMG what a mistake, unless you want to install your integrated dishwasher in the middle of your room without having to move it at all - avoid. First of all moving the dish washer in to start lining up single rear leg snapped. Managed to find some old shelves to level it up, started to carefully adjust front alignment and one of the front legs snapped! Cut some more shelves for it to sit on. The old version had metal legs this has very flimsy plastic ones. Do Not Buy absolute rubbish. IKEA sort out your appliance legs!!!1
Great Value and clean dishes Anonymous reviewerWe had the old VALJORD dishwasher at triple the price but the dishes were never clean and soaking wet. This is a total bargain in comparison and really great thorough clean on all cycles used so far. Can I please share that the VAGLIG rail system is the best for all IKEA doors and isn't exclusive to drawer fronts as you don't need a template to install it and this should come as part of the appliance as standard. It is so easy to mount, the door doesn't fail with time as the thread just wears when attached straight on. Please update your VAGLIG rail instructions though as they are out of date for the new LAGAN5
Very happy - can’t fault this dishwasherAnonymous reviewerBought this integrated Lagan dishwasher to replace our old Renlig DW60 integrated dishwasher installed in 2010, we have the old Ikea Faktum kitchen so wasn’t sure if this dishwasher would fit into our old kitchen and if the door would fit on the new model, we asked in IKEA Glasgow but they did not know! looking on Google some advice said you could others that you couldn’t, so we decided to chance it, bought this one purely for the energy grade A
Husband fitted our old Faktum door onto it easily, and installed it easily following the instruction booklet (before putting it under the worktop obviously). It works perfectly, I use the short 40 minute wash, a couple of times a week, and it cleans everything perfectly ( I do not pre-rinse under the tap), we do however live in Scotland where the water is soft and has no limescale.
It’s nice and quiet, the door opens when the wash is finished, and you hear a beeb

Installation process is terribleAnonymous reviewerIf I could leave zero stars I would. I’m not sure if this is the process all Ikea dishwashers use, or just this one. The feet the dishwasher sit on are extremely flimsy. The back foot was stuck in the machine and we had to use a spanner to loosen it when it first arrived. The only way to put on or remove door fronts is to remove the entire unit and pull it out which is extremely difficult once your work surface is installed. The back leg of the machine snapped off whilst we attempted this. The institutions are also extremely unhelpful. The brackets for attaching it to the units either side are also far too delicate and one of the plastic parts broke when we installed it. Would not recommend at all.1
