TerribleAnonymous reviewerGreat looking shelf. But in reality very poor design and fit. Used all screw holes to fix bracket to a brick wall. All level but when you slide the shelf on it tilts forward. Has a lot of movement on the 3 bar bracket. Definitely needs to be made better. Price was good.

Really easy to install Anonymous reviewerI’m a single woman and I managed to put this up within 30 mins. The key thing is usually quality plugs and screws (as they don’t come provided)
Won’t sit level on the protrusionAnonymous revieweronce the bracket is screwed in to the wall, the three support rods are tilted down at an angle, no attempt to straighten them is enough without the risk of breakage… the tubes in the shelf have to much wiggle room as well which allows them to sit at a downward angle on the depth… poorly designed and poorly manufactured.

We’re very happy with these shelves, they look expensive, and they’re great quality. His desk was also bought in IKEA in oak, but I couldn’t understand why I could buy his desk in oak but could only buy his shelves and desk drawers in white oak. It would be nice to be able to buy matching colours.

For £20 it's almost impossible to get even a plank of wood and two brackets, and this looks considerably better than that. Weight limit is 15kg. so unsuitable for very heavy items, for anything else look no further.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
