Two of the drawers are and have been empty since so it’s not over filled, the joins barely fit together and we had a missing screw piece that’s connects one of the drawers when putting together, bare in mind the drawers are literally put together with plastic screws. The drawers do not glide easily on the flimsy runners, and consequently this chest of drawers is falling apart and not fit for purpose. Unlike other Ikea chest of drawers that we purchased 10 years ago that are more robust and still work perfectly.

Amazing value for money!Anonymous reviewerSeriously, if you want to make your room look classy on a budget, the Kullen is absolutely top notch. It's solid, chunky, and not at all bad to assemble. I usually get a local handyman to assemble flat-pack for me, but pennies were tight this time, so I had a bash myself. I found an 11-minute step-by-step tutorial on YouTube, read the instruction booklet, unpacked everything, got my tools ready, and went in with a calm head. I have joint problems in my hands so am a bit slower than the average person at anything dextrous, but it only took me just over two hours, which I was happy with. No hitches, nothing that didn't work, no swearing required - every hole engineered perfectly. Thank you IKEA - I've had a tonne of your furniture since I moved into my new house 4 years ago, and every piece impresses.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
