Awful product don’t buy Anonymous reviewerThe socket melted so for safety concerns I throw it and hoped I buy another one. I went to ikea Exeter and they where extremely unhelpful, they didn’t helped me and said is impossible for me to buy only the socket.
I am absolutely disappointed with the service and the product, I explained to 3 members of staff that I don’t have the receipt anymore, I don’t want anything free I want to buy one, but no change.

Looked for part number 146701 which is discontinued and this came up as replacement 10068194, sadly not available either.
Checked at customer help desk in Wembley store as well as phoned customer service support centre on 01733 520006 to be advised that it is out of stock and all they can do is put a stock alert in place! Very frustrating and not helpful as we’re stuck with a lamp with no bulb and need a working lamp. Since KRUX desk lamp is still in stock the bulb for it is still being produced - so come on IKEA! Make it available to order it separately too otherwise stop producing the whole lamp which is useless without the working bulb!

Not a sustainable productAnonymous reviewerA very odd LED lamp inside this fitting. It is a non standard pin configuration & voltage.
I bought 2 of these some years ago. One started flickering just outside of the warranty period & I was unable to locate a replacement so off to the landfill it went. The other has just started doing it now & I have tried the IKEA spare part finder & used the article number in one of the earlier reviews & guess what? It is not available! Very difficult to even attempt to change the lamp holder in order to use a different lamp. Shame on you Ikea! You promote yourselves as an eco concious, planet caring, tree hugging company but it appears this is just profit related & very wasteful. If you would like to provide your customers with a link to purchase these odd LED lamps then please feel free. Otherwise I'm afraid it is a bit of a rip off!
