The tray has a dual function. One side that is smooth, for larger baked goods like cakes, and the other one with ridges for smaller baked goods like muffins.
Four latches hold the lid in place so that you can safely take the cake carrier with you.

Solid and handyAnonymous reviewerAs a baker space in fridge and solidity of this product it’s important, the size is decent as only takes as much space as needed in the figle, fits perfectly fine therefore made for purpose as well as the material is solid, not so easy to damage! Loving it!

Handle came off while carryingAnonymous reviewer I used this carrier to take a celebration cake to a friend. The handle separated from the container whilst I was carrying it. My cake went flying, ending upside down on the ground (luckily still in the container). After spending a lot of time decorating the cake with cream, I was heartbroken that it ended up in a mess.
The handle is NOT able to hold the weight of a normal cake!!!

Fab cake containerAnonymous reviewerBought it to replace one I had borrowed from my daughter and accidentally dropped on my tile floor and burst it . Love the versatility of it in that one side of the base has holes for cup cakes and the other is flat for a large cake. It might have been better if the cup cake holders were in the other side of the base as they don’t need as much height as a large cake does. But over all it’s great.

Good at first, but weak plastic clips which breakAnonymous reviewerI loved this cake carrier, but after using it occasionally for the last year to store and transport stuff I’ve baked, the plastic snapped on one of the clips. So it doesn’t seal properly anymore and I can’t use it as a carrier with the handle in case more of them break. A shame really, would have expected it to last a lot longer.
