After a few months everybody had tripped over it multiple times and two people had hurt their feet on the edges enough to draw blood. Off to the tip it went! We'd love recommendations for something better but in the meantime we've gone back to mats!2

Kolon Floor ProtectorAnonymous reviewerThese were not the first, nor are they likely to be the last, Kolon Floor Protectors that my family will purchase - they are good and durable floor protectors. The remaining question is from where/ from whom we will buy them. The first were collected from the IKEA store in UK, the most recent were purchased via 'click and collect' from drop-off van parked behind the main King Street, London building. We were horrified to find that they were not wrapped or protected - but were open and unwrapped on the van-floor, effectively being used as protectors for the floor of the IKEA van. Our other experiences with IKEA over the years and on different continents have been positive. This latest experience with click & collect of Kolon Floor Protectors IKEA has regrettably been negative5

Honestly, I don't know what kind of chairs some reviewers are using - My Kolon (the name always makes me chuckle, but then I am of an immature mind) hasn't cracked or scratched.
Just wish they weren't that expensive. But I will get a few more as would be handy for entry areas.5

When I moved the floor protector, it was marked where my chair wheels had been, which would have otherwise been my carpet if I hadn’t got this floor protector. It does move a bit from time to time, but it’s easy to shift back, it isn’t that bigger inconvenience. Love it and would buy it again! 5

KOLON floor protectorAnonymous reviewerVery happy with my purchase. Despite the other reviews I found that these do not move at all on the floor (carpeted). I would love to see this available in different sizes to cover a larger area - as a bigger product or multiple smaller pieces. Also noticed that there is a slight grey/ brown tinge and is not entirely colourless and transparent.5
