Multi purposeAnonymous reviewerI actually used this as a planter and painted it with wood stain. It looks great!5
BixAnonymous reviewerPerfect for storage5
Useful kitchen storageAnonymous reviewerGood sized pine box for my root veg under the counter in a smooth running deep wooden drawer. Keeps them cool, dry and well ventilated. I don't like the metal screws though and would prefer to see a clever interlocking joint or 3 to attach the sides to each other.4
Really usefulAnonymous reviewerBought 4 of these to make gift boxes, they are easy to assemble and no rough edges.5
Reasonably easy to assembleAnonymous reviewerReasonably easy to assemble with a power screwdriver. Holes were not always perfectly aligned. Looks nice storing recipe books on kitchen shelf.5
Good sizeAnonymous reviewerI am pleased with this and managed to assemble ! Bought to use in utility cupboard to store cleaning products5
Versatile containerAnonymous reviewerI keep buying these handy containers because they are so useful. We keep toys, games, logs, over-winter plants, apples, potatoes and goodness knows what else. They stack well. Easy to assemble but a small drill is helpful to open up the many screw holes (which are just a pin-mark) and speed up the insertion of small screws without splitting any wood.5
Nagglig Sorage BoxAnonymous reviewernice item easy to put together and ideal for cupboard or under the bed storage.5
Quality not as good as before.Anonymous reviewerThese have been getting worse over last 5 years. Wood needs sanding before you can stick on the vinyl. Also fitting together was not as easy as it used to be as more parts now. Still not bad value but not as good as before.3
DisappointedAnonymous reviewerVery disappointed. New design is thinner wood, fiddly to fix together. Not as solid as the previous design.1
New design awful Anonymous reviewerIf anyone at IKEA reads this hopefully they’ll change to old way of assembling Without the small screws just 4 complete panels and 8 large screws and they were perfect and so easy.
Why the new design? Does it save money? Certainly adds hassle for the customer!1
Love itAnonymous reviewerLove it5
My favourite product for yearsAnonymous reviewerMy favourite product for years, I've been buying boxes for years every time I'm in Ikea. They are great for everything5
UsefulAnonymous reviewerIt’s so cute and fits more than I thought it would. Defo gonna buy more5
UsefulAnonymous reviewerTook a bit long to build but it’s very useful and steady. I’m defo gonna buy more5
Easy to assemble.Anonymous reviewerA useful small box, easy to put together5
Useful, handy and stackable boxesAnonymous reviewerThese are not as good as they used to be. We bought some a few years ago which were of better quality, disappointed that we can't put the new ones next to the old ones as they look different3
defective design, to be sent back to engineeringAnonymous reviewerWARNING: THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, DO NOT BUY.
This wooden crate comes with 24 screws: for me 7 of the screws broke while assembling (1 broke + 6 flattened head).
I didn't see it coming. The first screws went fine, later ones easily broke on holes not perfectly predrilled/aligned.
Provided screws are M2x20 (2mm diameter 20mm length). They are tiny, they offer too little grip and are too fragile to screw into pine wood.
(Also, they need a special screwdriver, PZ0, which is quite uncommon. You won't be able to put a single screw without the right screwdriver!)
This product needs to be sent back to design to get appropriately sized screws.
P.S. DIYers can manage with their own spare screws, you need M3x20.1
Terrible new designAnonymous reviewerI’ve been buying these crates for years and have loved them. I’ve used them for everything from books, blankets to food. However, the new design is terrible. The tiniest screws are fiddly, I’m struggling to insert them properly and it seems no screwdriver is small enough even though I have tried every size! Not the usual high standards or simple designs one has come to expect from Ikea. A real shame.1
New design terrible Anonymous reviewerBought three and two were the new model. Far more fiddly to assemble and a little less sturdy! 2
