Best pan we've had!Anonymous reviewerWe were looking for an affordable all-rounder as our Scoville was starting to get past its best; the design on this was better than the other ikea pan we were looking at so decided to give it a go. We cook on gas hob, and no oil is truly needed at all with this! Cleaning is a dream too, very much a rinse and wipe cleans it to new. The drainer lid is a nice touch, and the wooden handles make it easy to carry when full. So good we are planning to replace our sauce pan as well with the smaller version!5

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
