Tallmyra is a hardwearing chenille cover made of cotton and polyester and has a soft surface and a slightly reflective lustre.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.
We have many removable covers to choose from, so you can always find one that you like for your new sofa or when you want to update the one you have at home with a new cover.

Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 30,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

Poor fabric and poor fitAnonymous reviewerThe fabric is very poor quality, the seat cushions have fabric only on one side (which means you can never turn them), while the back cushions don't have zip fastening but some flimsy velcro.

Not a good purchase Anonymous reviewerVery disappointed the bottom of the sofa cushions are now just nylon which prevents you of turning them over. This should be mentioned on their description because If I knew I would not have bought them.
Generally the whole fabric is very thin and bad quality.
A simple way to a whole new lookAnonymous reviewerWe were moving to a new house and we fancied "changing" the Kivik sofas as the Green/Beige of the original covers we bought weren't going to match the colour scheme we had in mind. We ordered some new covers for our original Kivik sofa, as we were disassembling them to move and new it would be easy to change the covers , prior to reassembly. We ordered the new Grey/Beige covers, which were delivered three days later. Fitting was simple and "Hey Presto" the sofa looked like new! A couple of points though. Don't forget to iron the covers before fitting them, as those "packing creases" won't disappear on there own. The Grey/Beige covers are very, light grey, I don't think they will work for you if you have young children or animals. Apart from those two things these covers are a cheap and simple way to rejuvenate your seating.
Poorer quality fabric than the originalAnonymous reviewerWe made a mistake buying the incorrect size spare cover for a kivik corner sofa a few years back. Couldn’t return as too long ago and couldn’t find receipt. Decided to buy just a new 3 seater cover (had to order actually in store, why?) and use the 2 seater/corner bit we already had.
Sadly found the new cover is an entirely different fabric (not as nice at all as the original) and different shade of similar blue to the original.
This necessitated another trip to the store to get a refund - 1 .5 hr round trip.
Just gave the old cover a good wash. Slightly more faded than the new but a much better match.
5 Star SofaAnonymous reviewerIt is sooo comfy and classy, the blue color added a nice look in the living room.. I warn you all, the cover fabric is changing by color. They are not all the same fabric, I strongly advice to go to IKEA then touch and feel different color fabrics and then decide the color itself.
