Very frustratedAnonymous reviewerThis is my second review, first being April this year as the matter reamins unresolved. I am extremely disappointed with my KIVI 4-seater chaise. I bought it in December 2025 for around £900, yet after only seven months it looks more like a seven-year-old sofa. The brackets holding it together have weakened, the chaise has dipped in the middle, the cushions have lost their shape, and the fabric is poor quality, marking easily and proving almost impossible to clean. This is clearly more than normal wear and tear – it raises concerns about the fabric, cushions and the sofa's structure. To make matters worse, IKEA initially offered me a refund or exchange, which I gladly accepted, only to later withdraw the offer after reviewing photos, claiming it was simply wear and tear. I am now left £900 out of pocket with a sofa that has deteriorated far too quickly. I would not recommend this sofa, it is a big waste of hard earned money. I'm very saddened by the whole experience.
So disappointed with the durability Anonymous reviewerOn our 5th year with this sofa and I have to say that it's been going downhill fast in the last couple of years. It was smelling odd so we took it apart to inspect. All the wood frame has mould growing on it! Also the plastic bits have gone very yellow and the wood where the side joins the chaise has cracked causing the joint to bow down. The cushions have gone saggy on the chaise and back rest. Very very disappointed with this purchase especially when they claim to have a 10 year guarantee. Normally Ikea standards are decent

Extremely disappointed Anonymous reviewerI’ve had this sofa for just a year and its cushions completely sunk and the fabric had bobbed and looks like we’ve had it for at least 7 years it’s so disheartening as I was looking forward to our new sofa and was saving up for it for so long it not a cheap sofa I don’t recommend.

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Cushion QualityAnonymous revieweri bought this sofa lounge just 6 months ago, and I’m already regretting it. The cushions have completely lost their shape — they sink in and don’t bounce back at all. It feels like I’m sitting in a hollow, and it’s very uncomfortable.
For the price I paid, I expected better quality and durability. A sofa should last at least a few years, not just a few months! Very disappointed with the construction and materials used.

Falling apartAnonymous reviewerI am beyond dissappointed with this purchase. I don't even know where to start.
As mentioned by others, the brackets connecting the two main parts are not capable of carrying the load evenly and therefore the end of the bigger part falls down slightly.
The cushion of the longue does not sit well however I try and it actually slips all the time looks like trying to get away from the sofa.
The stiches of the sofa fabric can never look straight and nice however I try. It always show the wear and tear.
Weirdly, the plastic cover under the cotton cover turned yellow and I dont have any idea why.
The sofa looks nothing like a 3 year old sofa.
The cushions are not firm and nice to withhold the fabric or the other way around.
I cannot figure out what the problem is but there are a lot of problems.
I am beyond dissappointed with this purchase and the customer service told me to take pictures to show the defects
But I am not sure changing the brackets and cushions will solve the issue.
Did not hold up wellAnonymous reviewerI bought this sofa 2 years ago. I needed a 4 seater as I can only have 1 sofa in my living room. The brackets supporting the sofa to the chaise snapped when I sat on the the corner and now the sofa is destroyed it's literally on the floor. It was difficult to assemble and the cushion on the chaise part is all dipped and you can't remove it to give it a good fluf. Not impressed by this at all I expected it to last longer.

Cushion covers too tightAnonymous reviewerI've had the sofa for over 2 years. I agree the cusion covers are too small which is a major flaw. It's a real struggle trying to fit the covers over the cushion. The chase longue also overhangs the base over time. Overall a decent sofa and the biggest selling point is ability to re-configure layout and also wash covers.
