A cuboard you fix into the Kallax unitAnonymous reviewerUpon opening the walls of it are thin but the main door is thick and sturdy. Then I realised it’s one you fix into the cupboard. So you can’t easily mix up your shelving display with other available shelving units. It also leaves screw marks on the inside and wanting to clean around isn’t so easy. I get this being fixed inside is potentially safer. I’ve had Kallax before and they were very strong, sturdy and removable I should have looked at it more when purchasing. It is a cupboard for Kallax at end of the day.
Perfect for older/arthritic handsAnonymous reviewerBought a unit for an elderly relative and needed a door and drawers that could be easily opened. These wave shaped ones are perfect as you don’t need to try to hold a small handle - you just put your hand in the gap, which is great for those with less mobility in their hands. The wave shape shape is also very nice to look at. We were fortunate that the blue colour goes perfectly with the existing decor as it’s the only colour it comes in. A bigger choice of colours would be really good.
