Laminate cover chipped off Anonymous reviewerWe’ve had this table for about 8/9 years so definitely got our use out if it. Moving it around has loosened the hinges and screws. We could have kept this for another 8 to 9 years had the laminate not started chipping off to reveal the wood chip interior.
Generally, the table is super sturdy and good quality. Let down by the laminate chipping off.

NEGATIVES : This would have been five stars but for a few niggles. 1) It would be good if black screw caps were included. I didn’t expect to have the screws clearly visible from my sofa. 2) It doesn’t butt tidily together when closed and tiny gaps are clearly visible- this is really disappointing 3) A teeny couple of marks that we will cover with a black marker/ paint. Too small to complain about but nevertheless.
POSITIVES: On the plus side, the quality of the veneered top is extremely good (despite the two very tiny marks/chips). The table looks smart and stylish and as expected. I’m sure I’ll get used to the niggles mentioned. I had expected it to be glossy like the white table we saw in store. Glad it’s not.
I had wanted the same table from another company, which was real wood (painted) with an unpainted wooden surface, but my husband didn’t like the wood. He won.4
