Gently heat any oil first, and THEN put ingredients in - that way you're at less risk of burning anything or staining the base. I've used it in the oven at 180 degrees, and it works perfectly. It's a good size to feed two people. So much healthier without a non-stick coating. The handle doesn't get hot, like some pans do, and it's certainly not too heavy, so it's easy to move around or lift. Great price too.

Cooking & cleaning made easyAnonymous reviewerThis is a generous-sized pan which makes cooking a wide variety of dishes easy. It distributes heat evenly and the lid helps with dishes needing a long, low heat simmer. Don’t use it on scorching high heat as the bottom may warp - use a wok or cast iron pan instead for high heat. It’s easy to clean by hand and nothing I’ve cooked yet has stuck or burned to the bottom of the pan. Let is cool first before immersing in water or washing. I think it will last me a good long time.
