ImpracticalAnonymous reviewerThese things can create a seal so strong that you'll be ripping your finger nails off just trying to take the lid off. Just get the plastic ones with clasps. I know this looks better but it's not worth it.

Lids warp after a few usesAnonymous reviewerAs aesthetic as they look with a glass container, they are really not practical. £4 a lid, and all 3 of mine have warped. Not ideal because they just pop off or don't seal properly. Now having to purchase clip on lids for the containers. But avoid buying these if you plan to have any sort of hot food in them. Absolute waste of money. Can't even return them.

Warps after first useAnonymous reviewerSort of neat in practice but the lid will warp outward against the grain after use / if you wash it and will not recover its original shape. This makes it difficult for the lid to seal properly on my glass and metal food containers.
I'm not sure how they're treated / coated but one of them also developed mold on the inside.
Really wish Ikea produced glass or metal lids for those respective container types.
It broken only used onceAnonymous reviewerIt got clacked the middle of the lid after only used once. I brought to the shop (Oxford street ) and the customer service lady told me it’s not refundable/exchange. So disappointed. It was definitely defect item. I will never buy it again!

Great for the fridgeAnonymous reviewerI have several glass bottoms in 2 sizes and use the plastic tops in the freezer, the silicone in the oven and these in the fridge as I can fit 2 on top of each other with these and lets be honest they look great. Got my new healthy salads all organised.
Do not stay in place!Anonymous reviewerPlease do yourself a favour and buy the cheaper plastic covers with clips. These bamboo ones look cute but are completely useless. They do NOT stay in place. Same for all other bamboo lid covers.

Seals not airtightAnonymous reviewerI bought this to reduce plastic, but the seals are not airtight and therefore do not cover the food in the container well. Thus, I need to switch to plastic lids.

What is bamboo?
Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years.
