Needed a light sanding after first wash. Anonymous reviewerNice product. After first wash the wood fibres plumped up and the surface was rough. I gave it a quick sand with some fine sandpaper, another wash and then oiled it. It’s been fine since. But it isn’t something I would expect to have to do.
