With a new fabric canopy, you extend the life of your gazebo. Perfect once your old canopy becomes worn out, but the sturdy steel frame is still okay.
The extra canopy is sold separately, so it’s simple to make your gazebo and outdoor space feel like new when it suits you.
The fabric gives excellent protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 50+, which means it blocks 98% of the ultraviolet radiation.
The fabric is made of polyester, of which at least 90% is recycled – a durable material which is tested, approved and free from harmful substances and additives.

Poor weak fabricAnonymous reviewerI am disappointed with the quality of the IKEA canopy cover. I have had to replace it four times in just two years because the material is not durable, ripped easily and stains easily. This is not cost-effective and goes against IKEA’s commitment to sustainability. I understand it is exposed to the weather, but I expected it to last much longer. I hope in future a better fabric will be used.

Too Tight for FrameAnonymous reviewerHave bought 2 of these now for the gazebo frame and both have ripped trying to fit on the frame. Thin material with no 'give' makes this a poor choice
Brilliant Replacement RoofAnonymous reviewerFabulous quality fabric, excellent help from staff at Giltbrook Nottingham Ikea.
We did struggle to fit roof on our old Ikea frame but managed it in the end, very tight fit. Roof could do with more Velcro fasteners but not a problem as I’ve attached my own. Looking forward to sitting out in sunshine now.

Gazebo coverAnonymous reviewerIt’s very very tight but when it’s on its fine, I don’t have any problems with it , when the winds up I attach 4 guy ropes to the tags that are in each corner down to the feet the last one lasted 3 years before it ripped ( my fault trying to clean bird poo with a pressure washer doh )
Replacement Gazebo CanopyAnonymous reviewerBought as a replacement for a non-Ikea gazebo. Size fitted perfectly.. Had to add some velcro fasteners myself to enhance securing to frame. Works really well. Rain water does not collect or pool. Seems a good quality product.
Not durableAnonymous reviewerI've had to change this at least twice. the most recent one in 4 Months.
1. Firstly it's very difficult to get the last corner on the Gazebo when fitting.
2. Not enough staps (tiny velcro staps that secure it to the Gazebo)
3. The straps aren't reinforced, and easily tear off with wind.
4. This is meant to be for a permanent Gazebo, not a colapsible, so I would have thought this would be more durable.
5. Discolours quite quickly with the sun during the summer.
6. With the sun and heat (in the UK), this becomes very brittle. Easily tears and rips when you're taking it off or re-applying.
7. Design isn't good enough be areodynamic to let the wind pass through (with the curtains drawn)
I wouldn't reccomend this as a purchase, as you'd have to keep replacing this every few months.
Good product fall shortAnonymous reviewerPurchased a spare canopy as looking to the future when the current one gets to old, still ok on its 2nd year. The frame is a good sturdy one but the canopy falls short in a couple of areas. The first problem is it has no corner tie down cords, even if it had loops I could attach my own, this would stabilise in more gusty weather. The second issue is the skirt around the frame is too short as it cannot cover the gap between it and the curtains, thus letting rain spray come into the inside of the curtains if there is the slightest breeze when its raining. This could be easily solved by the skirt being deeper.

HIMMELSO canopyAnonymous reviewerWe bought this as a hopeful replacement for the canopy of our old Ikea KARLSO gazebo. as it was also 300 x 300. The fit was very tight so we had to trim 0.5cm off each of the corner roof bars and now it is fine!

Great that this replacement canopy is now in stock Anonymous reviewerThe gazebo is really functional and looks great, however the canopy has ripped in a few places after a few years of British weather.
Now the replacement canopy is in stock and I am able to recommend this product. I have purchased the replacement canopy and will change my ripped canopy in spring.
I hope this product stays in stock as the canopy will need changing every couple of years.
