I've had several of these before, and have replaced them because I've dropped the lid and broken it. (Being able to just buy the lid would be fantastic Ikea!). Whilst the non-stick coating does not last as long as some brands, the Hemlagad wok is a great one for a reasonable price.4

    What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

    Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
