In HAVSTEN you sit deep, low and soft with a comfortable resilience thanks to the elastic mesh in the bottom.
You can just shake off water from a light rain, as the cushion cover is water repellent.
The cushion covers are dope dyed, a process that reduces consumption of water and dyestuff while improving colour fastness compared to traditional dyeing techniques.
The cushion has a longer life, since it can be turned over and used on both sides.

Do not lastAnonymous reviewerAfter buying this along with expensive covers after a few years the stitching on the seat structure has failed, making the whole sofa collapse. Followed all care instructions. Very disappointed as potentially best part of £1000 of useless furniture after 4 years.
Had rust on it pretty much the first year, from a light summer shower, despite being ‘galvanised’ (it’s clearly not) and painted.
Would advise not buying, and very disappointed with quality.
Fabulous & StylishAnonymous reviewerI wanted to replace our rattan furniture for something that said more "grown up!" The Havsten sofas and chair are so sturdy, stylish and super comfortable and each item assembled in 15 minutes!! The covers (including arms) zip off for washing which is very convenient and the neutral beige colour means you can dress the furniture to suit your own garden/patio/conservatory space. They are very LARGE and I have had difficulty getting covers (to protect them from inclement weather) to fit and ended up buying cube table covers; perhaps this is something for IKEA to consider. You will not be disappointed with the Havsten and I highly recommend it!
