Let down by the fact that one half of one upright was not finished in the factory. Was missing holes for dowels, shelves, connecting brackets to the back and the main construction holes for the structural carcass were not finished so had to drill and cut all these manually as only had a day to build everything. They look great now up, just a shame it took me a little too long to build. 4

I did wonder if the helpline number was actually just a divorce lawyer , which to be honest might have been useful at that time .We pushed on however, and subsequent cupboards were very easy to construct , and they look great ( plus we are still married ).5

Awful qualityAnonymous reviewerFound this easy to put together but the quality is awful it’s like the wood is covered in a paper finish put an envelope that had a sticky piece of tape on it when I picked it up took the coating straight off so it’s definitely not painted wood so beware what you place on this bookshelf I’ve had to buy another smaller one to change the top shelf over as it’s very visible so it’s a very fragile piece of furniture marks very easily1

I`ve bougt many IKEA` products, but new once have terrible quality. Very soft and thin veneer so don`t try to put on shelves any heavier items. All connections made of plastic instead of metal. Bookshelf finally is very unstable and wobbly. I just can`t recommend Hauga bookshelf, sorry.1
