UK drawer missing metal rod?Anonymous reviewerThe the flimsy drawers bases buckled under light weight. Watching YouTube assembly, I found non-UK units have a metal rod to reinforce the unersurface of each drawer. This is also absent from the UK assembly instructions! Very disappointing.

The quality very disappointing in particular the drawers were hard to assemble, bottoms so flimsy they became unusable and the drawer fronts kept coming off on all three. I'm returning the second unopened box. Wish I had read the reviews first as I would not have bought, as other Ikea items I've purchased have been so much better.

RubbishAnonymous reviewerHaving built a very large number of Ikea furniture over the years I can safely say this is the worst piece of “furniture “ I have ever bought from Ikea. Flimsy - one piece snapped off and one onf the screws bent - this has never happened before - it cannot be fixed so just £39 in the bin, and wasted time visiting the store.

Almost 2 years Anonymous reviewerI don’t know how so many complaints about this fantastic chest of drawers, I believe if you don’t ensamble very well it will not last a year, or if you use it without a bit of care it will last very little.
It is a great piece if you know how to take care of things.
Great price for a good item and very useful that also I can store many jeans and jumpers on it!

Great drawers at a great priceAnonymous reviewerI have had these drawers for a year now, I store my socks and underwear in them and considering the drawers are absolutely full to the brim, they are still working really well. Yes it is obvious they don't have drawer slides but they work great.
I remember when we put them together we struggled with adding the draw pulls but once they were attached they were fine. We are planning on buying a second set as we now want to use these as bedside tables.
TerribleAnonymous reviewerI've battled with this item from day one, I appreciate its cheap but that shouldn't mean it can't perform its basic function of being a chest of drawers. The side panels bowed within a could of weeks meaning the plastic runners no longer seat in the groove they are intended to run along. This means the drawers are repeatedly falling out, not ideal for use in a kids bedroom. To add to this, the base within the drawers also give way very easily meaning the contents of the drawer fall it. My advice would be to go for the RAST as it's solid pine and gas none of the issues stated above. I say this as I also have a RAST which has lasted over 6 years with no issue at all!
